Retreat: going aside, continuance from somewhere, going to solitude

For those who know Govinda, are aware that this retreat is not some kind of picnic or a runaway form every-day life's challenges. It is rather an exciting exploration of the hidden layers of ourselves. We had a chance to have a taste of what it is like to follow the teachings of a master with the gentle care of our community in the forest of self-study for a few days last year. I think I can say this in the name of all the attendants, that we had hard, joyful and liberating moments all in one. One thing is for sure, it was an experience we will remember for a long time. We cannot wait to see what this 3 weeks will bring up.

The main theme of the retreat is naturally YOGA. And everything that is connected to it on and off the mat.

The programs will be as follows, keeping the freedom for it to be changed following the dynamics of the group:

05:00-06:00 - mantra meditation
06:00-08:00 - asana practice
09:00-10:00 - breakfast
10:00-13:00 - free time
13:00-14:00 - lunch
14:00-16:00 - rest
16:00-18:45 - satsang and kirtan
19:00-20:00 - dinner

The price includes: accommodation, 3 meals per day and the all the classes.
Registration fee: 30%

Registration is final by filling out this form AND paying a registration fee. The rest of the fee must be paid latest 1 week before the start of the retreat.

Terms of cancellation:
Before 1st of June, the registration fee will be repaid.
Cancelling after 1st of June, the registration fee can not be remitted.

About the Venue:

The retreat takes place in the beautiful Kisnyalka Manor, that has one building 2 km away from the closest village. It was built in the era of the Monarchy in 1891 and was used as a dairy-farm until it was renovated 5 years ago and turned into a retreat centre. Perfect location for practicing spiritual techniques. The building offers simple but comfortable and stylish accommodation for 30 people with separated bathroom and toilet for men and women. There is a beautiful circular meditation room with wooden roofing that gives space for 30 people to practice together.

Approach:

Arriving from Győr or Veszprém you can find Nyalka village not far from Pannonhalma. After Nyalka, in the direction of Kishegy there is a cross on the right side where a dirt road begins. Kisnyalka manor is at the end of this road.
